This is one of the hydroelectric generating stations that is fed by the powerful Manicouagan River, coming from the reservoir bearing the same name. Visit this Run-of-River facility that can produce more than 1,000 watts of electricity with its eight turbine-generating units and its 70-metre-high fall (230 feet).
Inside the dam, you can see a hollow joint the size of a Boeing 747. You will be impressed! The visit of the dam is free of charge, but you must show an identification card.
