Cap de Bon-Désir Interpretation and Observation Centre

Open from mid-June to mid-October

A Beautiful Place to Observe Whales

This centre is located on a natural promontory and thus gives you the chance to observe the marine mammals that live in the St. Lawrence River. The interpreter guides will teach you about these giant animals, directly at the promontory or during an interpretation activity.

Naturalist-divers go to the bottom of the river to retrieve small animals that live in the River so you can see them from up close. Come listen to the history of the lighthouse and to that of its inhabitants. You will also have the chance to hear the history of navigation on the River. Enjoy a sunny day to have a picnic with your family.
