Le Sentier de Charlotte et le Tentement Ashini

Open from mid-June to mid-September

For a Genuine First Nation Experience

Walk along this one-kilometre interpretation path that links the Ashini camp to the St. Lawrence River. Come learn more about this aboriginal community that settled along the River and lived on seal and salmon.

The path and the camp both bear the names of Gabriel Ashini and his wife Charlotte Cardinal, who were the last descendants of this tribe. You will learn about their way of life as well as about the fauna and flora of the region.
